THIS IS THE INFORMAL BIOGRAPHY OF GOTHCHYLD IN TERMS OF POETRY

SINCE ALLPOETRY HAS BECOME A PORTOFOLIO, I WILL KEEP INFORMAL THINGS HERE...
Sitting on the edge of Aegean sea, looking in the world as if it is something filled with goodness on one hand, yet manipulated by evil on the other. Yes, you have spotted Gothchyld.

Gothchyld originated through too many ages, from the formation of civilizations in ancient Greece to the vintage period of Romantic poets. (NB: Not romantic in terms of love, however). She has been fascinated and enchanted under the spell of Literature since 2003 and was obsessed with poems ever since.

Under the moonlight, she is a child of the night, and one who is heavily influenced by classical literature (not Homer yet!) She is currently mastering the art of tarot cards and on a journey to go to the Twelfth Astral Plane, or simply complete nirvana. Her influences include: Matthew Arnold, Louis MacNeice, Sylvia Plath, Anne Rice and Michelangelo. Gothchyld is also addicted to caffeine, movies and appreciates Baroque fairytales. (see Angela Carter for further reference).

Below are her favourite AP poets:

thepyromaniac (good for you bro)

Painting her lips in a deliberate crimson shade, Gothchyld is now wandering across the world painting minuets of nature; crafting hyperbolic love poems and carving yet another sharp critique of the world. Ready to embark a weary quest to explore all sides of the cosmic universe that we thrive in.

Welcome to Gothchyld's realm - a collection of poetry and stories that unlock the world in another perspective (dark realism?); leave your heart beating with waves of love; weaves tales of the 'glorious' nature or trickles tears of sadness.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF GOTHCHYLD:

1. Articles published in school magazine.
2. Poem 'The Twisted Flower' published in school yearbook 2005/2006.
3. Awarded Gold and silver in Allpoetry contests.
