World Cup Craziness

Since myspace decides to kick me out of the list, may as well bs football talk here:

1. Les bleus..fading colour and splendour

France vs Spain has just got to be sheer luck for France.
Admittadly I had turned time around, hoping to see France's defeat. But Spainards just lacked luck..Villa's shot was amazing, yet France seemed to regain that sponteanous energy. Perhaps when Zizou was here, les Bleus got a saviour.

Memorable moments: Villa's shot. Joaquin, Casillas and Alonso being wonderful. Zidane's last shot. Ribery's shot since 'Casillas overestimated himself'. Underserved yellow card to Puyol.

Emotions: Happy, because later it's France vs Brazil. We all know who'll win.

2. Netherlands vs Portugal - bully boy football

This just had to be a controversial match - 16 yellows and 4 reds.

Being a Dutch fan, I am definitely outraged by Malache's shot. Unfortunately, there is a huge coup of 'I-love-C.Ronaldo' fan girls. Gosh girls, don't give us a **** stare because of Ronaldo, he has a gf u know!

Excitment cane in during the 2nd half where literally every accidental kick over a jersey, or elbow from the running became a foul. No wonder Deco and van Brocklehurst were chatting - did this ref thinks every little accident deserve a yellow card?

Memorable moments: Kuyt's amazing efforts. Drooling Ronaldo fan-girls.-_-
Chaos in 2nd half when ref gives a yellow card every 5 - 10 mins. Deco and van Brocklehurst.

Emotions: Have to support Portugal in the next match, due to negative speculation over England.

3. Sven, oh Sven!

If FA have made a correct choice earlier, Sven Eriksson would be out of the window.

Why put a crazy 4-5-1 formation? Why substitute Becks in 80th min when he already seem like vomitting? (My support to Posh - Eriksson needs to know the definition of 'sick'). Why play football like child's play in the match vs Paraguay?

Memorable moments: Becks suffocating. Fake Sheikh incident. Rooney prayers. McClaren's worries.

Emotions: Sympathetic over the England team, but still don't think they should get in final 4.

However, the pub that serves England's footballers' wives/gfs will disagree - they bring business with the rapid clubbing!!
