Finding quotes on aspects of life is extremely fun now...

I did this for leisure and also as an attempt to improve my understanding of abstract concepts of life. But perhaps it would also help me academically.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."
-Helen Keller

The Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself."
-Benjamin Franklin

"Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go."
-Oscar Wilde

"...happiness is the highest good, being a realization and perfect practice of virtue, which some can attain, while others have little or none of it..."
-Aristotle

HAPPINESS IN OTHER ASPECTS:

On work:
Happiness lies not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort. The joy and moral stimulation of work no longer must be forgotten in the mad chase of evanescent profits. These dark days will be worth all they cost us if they teach us that our true destiny is not to be ministered unto but to minister to ourselves and to our fellow men."

-Franklin D. Roosevelt, First Inaugural Address

ON WISDOM:
Our happiness depends on wisdom all the way."
-Sophocles

WE REALLY SHOULD HOST PHILOSOPHICAL DISCUSSIONS ABOUT THESE THINGS....THEY ARE WORTHWHILE..
